Outreach Corner:

* Make gifts with friends for kids in the hospital.
* Clean up a neighbor's yard.
* Make birthday cards for the elderly.
* Collect unused make-up, perfume, and other cosmetics for a center for abused women.
* Clean up trash along your local canal.
* Volunteer at your local police station.
* Form a kids' carwash squad to clean & wash seniors' cars.
* Collect children's books for a daycare center for the elderly.
* Organize a community dog wash.
* Volunteer at an animal shelter. help clean up, play with the animals or do whatever's needed to make the shelter a nice "temporary" home for the animals.

A Reindeer Romp...??

In hope of partnering with Children First Academy in more ways than just our Christmas Celebrations, Mrs. Lieber's 7th grade homeroom students had the opportunity to bless ALL of the CFA students as well with helping with their annual Reindeer Romp, a December morning focused on staying fit.

The 7th graders helped CFA's P.E. teacher, Ms. Burkhardt, with four different sessions of the Reindeer Romp. At times, our 7th graders were Santas; chasing their younger students, the reindeer, while at other times, they were there to encourage and run with the older kids. Our 7th graders also donated Christmas coloring books to bless the younger students with after the completion of the Reindeer Romp. What a great morning!
